Two fighters are out of UFC 291, and fans are worrying that it might affect this week’s card. Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt, is out of his fight against Mario Bautista due to injury. This statement was announced on UFC Fight Night on Saturday, August 12th. According to the broadcast, he suffered an undisclosed injury while preparing for his upcoming bout. Bautista Is now facing Da’mon Blackshear, Blackshear is taking this fight on such short notice his most previous fight was last week which he won in amazing fashion by pulling off a rare submission which was only the 3rd time it has been used in the UFC and he is determined to make a legendary back to back win streak.
Geoff Neal (15-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) has withdrawn from his Welterweight (170 lbs) bout against Ian “The Future” Garry due to undisclosed reasons which was reported by MMA Junkie.
Due to Neal pulling out the fight Ian Garry will be now facing Neal Magny, Magny has stepped up to face the undefeated prospect. Magny, who is a seasoned veteran in the UFC is ready to try and derail Ian’s hype train and stop his 5 fight winning streak coming into this exciting PayPerView card.
