Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was released to theaters on June 2, 2023. Miles Morales, the new Spider-Man of Brooklyn, encounters a new enemy The Spot and has to deal with his own problems as a teenager. Then, he goes across the multiverse and finds other spider men including his friend Peter B. Parker and Gwen Stacy. As The Spot is a multiversal threat , all the hero’s disagree on how to handle it. Miles then is pinned against all the spider-men and has to find a way to overcome this obstacle.
The movie is one of the best movies that came out this summer and blew up a lot on social media such as Tik Tok. In the movie, we really see the growth of Miles Morales taking the new role as Spider-Man and see the problems that he faces which can be really relatable like when Miles feels loneliness because he has no one to relate too with his problems. The visuals in the movie were very breathtaking showing a bunch of futuristic, comic like animations, and many more that are very undescribed. Then if you really like music, the soundtrack for the movie is one of the best I’ve heard since the Black Panther soundtrack came out. Music was produced by Metro Boomin who has made songs like “Space Cadet”, “Superhero”, and “Am I Dreaming” which was in the movie.
Cameos in the movie are shown a lot in this movie also. Lots of spider-man we see in the comics and in shows like the Spectacular Spider-Man who was shown on Disney XD. Then, Spider-Man 2099 is one of the characters that are in this movie and has a really cool theme song when he makes an appearance. This movie should be movie of the year because of the impact it had on social media throughout the summer and all the theories that’s going to happen in the next movie. It is a must watch movie for anyone wanting to watch a movie or is just bored. Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse is a ten out of ten movie and one of the best Spider-Man movies.
