Have you ever been so hungry but you couldn’t think of a place to eat? Look no further I’ve got the list for you.
- The French Laundry, Yountville, California: If you’re on a budget, eating out may have never been an option, but it is now. If you live in Benicia this may be a bit of a trek out there but the money you spent on the gas will be saved when receiving the bill. I don’t know about you, but when I think of cheap foods I think of meager amounts, The French Laundry’s nine course meal will never leave you hungry.
- IN-N-OUT, Vallejo, California: If you are looking for more gourmet this is the place to try. The finest chefs graduated from The Culinary Institute of America, and it’s a 3-star Michelin rated restaurant. A great place to impress a first date and an impression made, where you can expect a second. Beef imported from Northern Italy marbled with perfection, placed between the finest naturally leavened brioche bun, topped with il sugo, leaves you always wanting one more bite. Very pricey, but definitely worth the experience.
- Taco Bell Cantina, Pacifica, California: If you ever make it out to Pacifica, make sure you stop at the Taco Bell Cantina. They serve authentic Mexican food that can’t help but make you wonder if you’re really there. With an amazing view of the beach, and the warm weather make sure to get a reservation, otherwise the chance of getting seated is slim. The Cantina also doubles as a luxury fashion house that sells clothing you may have seen worn on the runway, or by some of your favorite celebs.
- Tasty Trails, Muir Woods, California: If you have ever been to Muir Woods to see the redwoods, I’m sure the Tasty Trails bar and grill caught your eye. They are known for their fancy cocktails and mocktails for the kids. My favorite is the Blue Coconut Mountain Dew. Also, in the winter, make sure to try their world famous hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies. This restaurant has great views and makes for a great break when you are out of breath from the 24 mile hike. If you stop by ask for the rooftop seating so close to the trees, redwood needles practically fall down your back.
- Kaiser Permanente Cafeteria, Vacaville, California: This exclusive restaurant is only available to around 1,500 people every year. With an assortment of options and specials on the menu everyday, you will never run out of things to try. The best part is the prices you can’t pass up, with a free entree, appetizer, and drink you will never have to worry about breaking the bank. Make sure on Tuesdays and Thursdays to get the mustard pancakes, and on Friday to get a pretzel dog. Your life will forever be changed.
I hope this list helps!!!!
