We all love a good cup of coffee. It seems to be the solution for everything: Tired? Drink a cup of coffee. Headache? Drink a cup of coffee. Need a nice warm ‘bev’ on a cold day? Drink a cup of coffee! Hot, Iced, Blended, it doesn’t matter, it will always be delicious, or so we hope. Have you ever decided to splurge on a nice cup of coffee to start your day off a little better and then you take a sip and realize, this is not worth the price? Well, if you haven’t experienced this horrible canon event, let me sum it up, it ruins your day.
Starbucks is the world’s largest coffee franchise in the entire world. Why? Because it is delicious, this is undeniable, but, recently a wrench has been thrown in the works. Starbucks has raised their prices to an unbelievable level. Each time I go to Starbucks, I spend at least $7 for a 24oz latte.
This price adds up. As a caffeine addict, I used to spend, on average, $35 a week on Starbucks. One day, I decided this habit was getting out of hand and I needed to cut down my Starbucks spending. During this personal recession, I discovered the holy grail of delicious, inexpensive coffee, The Coffee Curb.
The Coffee Curb is located on Admiral Callaghan Ln, Vallejo. This adorable, small, drive through shop consists of the best coffee in town. They use Moschetti’s coffee beans which are from another local, family owned coffee roaster located in downtown Vallejo. Their menu ranges from hot, iced, and blended coffees with a selection of 26 different flavors. They also have teas, lemonades and even pastries if you’re hungry!
You may be thinking that if the coffee is that good, it must be expensive, right? Wrong. In contrast to a $7, 24 oz latte from Starbucks, at The Coffee Curb, you can get a 32 oz latte for $5.40! The price is unbeatable.
The adorable location, the incredible customer service, the unbeatable price, and most importantly, the satisfaction you get from each and every sip makes The Coffee Curb the best coffee shop around. If you are considering getting Starbucks, let this inspire you to try something new! I promise you, you will not regret your decision.
