Nature Views In Benicia High School

Hello, my name is Lena and I am a senior. Benicia has some of the most beautiful sunsets and nature. In my article I am documenting photos from around Benicia High School. These photos range from many different flowers to sceneries around the school.

All my life I have enjoyed the beauty of nature and the world around me so taking photos is one of my favorite things to do. Taking photos can be very therapeutic, you are able to capture moments or people/places with one picture. I believe it is a very powerful form of art and expression because you can say little words and still get your point across.

You can also choose what you would like to capture and how you would like to capture it therefore being a very creative outlet. Doing photography can also be very easy and accessible because even if you do not have a professional camera you can still use your phone and the photos will still turn out how you want them to.

Most people already take pictures in their day to day life, the more pictures you take the better you become at it. Anything can be captured with photography. People, foods, nature, emotions, celebrations, anything and everything. It is a good way to use your creativity and imagination. With a camera you can capture bold colors, people’s emotions/reactions, the beauty of nature, etc. photos can capture lots of different stories.

If you are just getting into photography I recommend starting off with just capturing anything and everything that is around you. Flowers, insects, the sky, pets are all good things to start off taking pictures of.
