On September 12th, 2023 two all powerful leaders came together and met in Russia. Kim Jong-Un and Vladamir Putin were seen shaking hands at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia. No press conference was held leaving us to speculate what happened behind closed doors.
Reports have surfaced that Jong-Un has vowed “unconditional support” when it comes to Russia’s recent assaults on Ukraine. Even though no public announcements have been made, it can be assumed that an alliance regarding these two could be a global threat for the rest of the world.
In July whilst the war in Ukraine was taking place, ammunition for Russia had just about depleted. Rumors state that Korea and Russia were potentially making deals in order to replenish Russia for the war.
Putin has also been asked before regarding whether they would support North Korea in launching its own satellites and rockets, to which Putin responded; “That’s exactly why we came here.”
There are no clear plans we can grasp from this but it is a very real possibility we will see an alliance formed among the two countries that could affect the rest of the world.
