The new iPhone 15 comes out in stores on September 22, 2023, with pre-orders starting on September 15th. The phone has 4 different models, iPhone 15 ($799), iPhone 15 plus ($899), pro ($999), and pro max ($1199). The 15 and 15 plus have some of the most requested colors such as pastel blue, green, yellow, and especially, pastel pink. It also includes the original black color. The pro and pro max have matte colors with grey, deep grey to black, white and a deep blue. Each phone has a new USB-C charging port making it more universally accepted.

The iPhone 15 has a 6.1 inch screen, 60Hz refresh rate, A16 Bionic chip, 12MP front camera, 5.81 x 2.82 x 0.31 inches, and a 3,349 mAh battery size with an 11 hour battery life. The 15 Plus has the same features as the non pro model, but it still has a few different features. It contains a 6.7 inch screen, 4,383 mAh battery size, 6.33 x 3.06 x 0.31 inches, and a 14 hour battery life. Now onto the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, the 15 Pro has the same screen size, refresh rate, and size as the 15 model. The differences are that the Pro has a 120Hz refresh rate, A17 Pro bionic chip, 3,274mAh battery size, and 10 hours battery life. Last but not least, the Pro Max has the same screen size as the 15 Plus, and the same refresh rate and CPU as the 15 Pro. The difference is that the battery size is 4,422mAh with a 14 hour battery life. The size is 6.29 x 3.02 x 0.32 inches.
Since this phone does not have much of an internal difference from the iPhone 12, 13, and 14, I would say that upgrading to an iPhone 15 is not needed if you have the 12, 13 and 14 models. The main difference is the way the phones look externally. These phones have thinner bezels, a dynamic island, curved edges, titanium sides for the pro models, and obviously, the colors. If you have a phone older than the iPhone 12, I would definitely recommend it if you want a higher quality upgrade.
