Juan Carlos Sauceda better known as Lefty SM a renowned Mexican rapper was shot and killed near his residence in Zapopan Jalisco. He was 31 years old.
Lefty’s record label, Alzada Records confirmed his passing on the morning of September 3rd. They posted to their social media “Dear Alzada friends and family, with profound sadness we’re informing you about the death of our brother, Lefty SM, Juan Carlos Sauceda. Our love and prayers are with his wife María Isabel and their two daughters.”
According to Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office’s preliminary investigation, Lefty was attacked near his residence at 10:50 p.m. on September 2nd when three armed gunmen attempted to remove him from his home and after they failed at that they started to open fire and leave the scene. Lefty sustained two gunshot wounds. His wife, Eza Mary, rushed him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m.
