Are you bored on Netflix with nothing to watch? Definitely should try to watch K-dramas or Korean Dramas. Here are some recommendations that I think you should definitely check out on Netflix.
Crash Landing on You– 16 Episodes
When a businesswoman from South Korea goes paragliding and an accident happens that makes her end up in North Korea. A North Korean soldier finds her and has to hide her from the people of the North. As time moves on, they both develop feelings for each other and she starts to enjoy her time in the North even though she is missing in the South. The series shows a lot of love, comedy, tragedy, and more. If you want a show that will make you want to binge watch, Crash Landing on You is definitely a must watch. Fun fact too, the actors also get married in real life and have a kid.
Start-Up: 16 Episodes
A determined girl named Seo Dal Mi wants to start a business and become successful in Korea. With her first love, investor, and a businessman; she is determined to become the very best in Korea. What’s really good about Start-Up is the story of each character that is introduced and how they develop from it. Each episode you watch, you’ll just want to know what’s going to happen next and what the characters are going to do. People who major in business would like this show, but this is a show anyone would like.

My Name– 8 episodes
When Yoon Ji-woo sees her father murdered on her birthday, Ji-woo swore revenge to find her father’s killer. She then joins a mafia crime boss and undercover police investigate who was the murderer. With only eight episodes, My Name was an interesting story and I actually liked the story. Plot was always having me on the edge of my seat and just didn’t know what was going to happen next on each episode. If you like plot twists, there are a lot in this show that will make you really confused. My favorite part of this show though, is the development of Yoon Ji-woo and you can really see how she grows in each episode. A very good K-Drama to watch especially if you’re just starting out.

Itaewon Class– 16 episodes
After his fathers death and being an ex-con, Park Sae-ro-yi and his friends want to open a street bar as their dream. Trying to open the street bar, Sae-ro-yi and his team have to go through many obstacles to be a very successful business in their street bar. The characters in this go through the best development I have seen in any K-Drama. We get to see each character’s past, struggles from the past that bite them, and how they get through them. If you also like love triangles, Itaewon Class does have two female characters that have interest in the main character. With a good soundtrack and plot, this show is for anyone to watch and I would recommend this as a must watch.
