U.S. Dept. Of State Urges Worldwide Caution For American Citizens

By Yaseen Jangikhan

The U.S. Department of State urges worldwide caution for American citizens traveling out of the country. As tensions rise in the Middle East because of the Israel and Hamas conflict, we are seeing multiple Middle Eastern countries disapprove of the support the U.S. is giving to Israel—along with disliking the U.S.’s presence in the Middle East. The result of such disapproval has been shown in recent bombings of  U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria. The U.S. hasn’t clarified who is the perpetrators of such attacks, but the government is currently suspecting the Iranian government and different terrorist organizations.

The U.S.’s Department of State feels that Americans are being targeted around the world because of current conflicts, and the Middle East has experienced the most major conflicts—perpetrated by the U.S. having a military presence in Afghanistan and other countries. The government recommends strong caution be taken whenever and wherever American Citizens are traveling.
