There is always a chance for fires while school is in session. Especially one inside of the school. This is why we have drills for these emergency situations. Students more than likely hate these drills, but it is a crucial necessity for them to know what to do instead of panicking. This is what NOT to do during a fire drill.
Firstly, you are not going to want to stay calm, but don’t panic. You need to freak out but also be in control. To do this, scream and run around in random directions until the teacher tells you to stop. After he does, stay calm and walk with the group while yelling the whole time. This will show other students that you know what you are doing.
Another thing not to do is listen to the teacher. Instead, talk to the people around you in your outside voices so people know you are having a conversation. This will ensure that no one will interrupt you. Which is important.
Lastly, don’t say, “Here!” when the teacher is taking roll. Instead, stay silent. People will think you are super cool for ignoring the teacher and will reward you with cool points. These can be cashed in for hangouts. This is crucial and has a little bonus on top of it.
Now that you know how to behave during a fire drill, put it up to the test when you have one. I wish you luck, you’re gonna need it.
