On Monday, November 6, 2023, at 9:45 in the morning, a rumored intruder was shot and killed on the spot near the corner of Georgia Street and Monterey Street. Just around the corner was a police Department. According to KTVU Fox 2 (Picture), the intruder was in front of the residents house. When the owner confronted the intruder; he opened fire. Residents who lived in the area reported that the owner and alleged intruder were fighting for a while after gunshots were fired. They also stated that the alleged intruder was mentally insane, yelling and screaming everyday. This led people to believe that the owner of the house had the right to defend himself and the intruder was the one to be blamed for his death. One of his neighbors stated:
“If you break into the residence or kick the door or come into the house, the owner has to fear for their life, obviously,” – Neighbor.
As for the resident who shot him, not much information was available about him other than the information that has been stated, but he has been cooperating with the police about this incident.
