In this article I will rate five video games that are currently popular and that are some of my favorites as well. Thank you and enjoy reading!
- Animal crossing: To anyone who enjoys games with cuteness and relaxation then this is the game to try. You can customize your character’s whole outfit and earn gifts by completing tasks or buying fortune cookies. The gifts include anything from hour decor in various themes to accessories for your character to wear or even hold. Also, the background music played in Animal Crossing is super relaxing and the little sound effects when walking (soft shuffling) and when picking fruit are relaxing as well. Another aspect of this game that I enjoy wholeheartedly is a cabin and campsite that you own. You can decorate both to make them your own and it’s a really great added touch.

- Minecraft: Similar to Animal Crossing, the background music and mining sounds are very calming and soft for the most part. As long as you don´t kill a sheep in this game then things won’t be too loud… I absolutely love the pure freedom you are given,you can create your own world, filled with anything and everything you want. I love creating my own house and also exploring the wonders of Minecraft. This game is less interactive than Animal Crossing because you are usually alone, except at night there come skeletons and zombie-like creatures, so you are not totally alone… And there are also many animals wandering around the world.

- Fortnite: This is a game I don´t play too often because (personally) I find it a bit too boring. In this game you are in a world with many different islands and houses. You gain equipment and inventory by opening golden chests and looking through houses. This game is a lot more free form which allows you to spend time creating hideouts in your world. You can also pick which character you want to play as. I feel like they could add more fantasy-like aspects to the different locations in this game. There are many additions to this game that would make it a lot more interesting to play. But for what it is, it’s a pretty decent game.

- Roblox: This is a very popular game around the world especially for teenagers and younger children. There are thousands of games that people have created themselves, to which anyone can play. Ranging from horror games to racing games! It’s a great option if you want a variety of different game options. Personally, I don´t like the quality of Roblox and how the character looks. I understand it ties in with the name but I feel like the characters could be made to look cuter than that. I love the creativity with the game making and being able to interact with other players too.

- Forza Motorsport: This is a car racing game and it’s one of my personal favorites to play. The main goal of this game is to drift and then try to beat your previous scores each time you play. I find it interesting because it’s a different theme than the rest of the games. In this game you are also racing with other online players and in my opinion the competitiveness makes it a lot more fun to play. I gave it a lower rating than animal crossing and minecraft because it requires a lot more attention to detail when playing which can be a bit draining because of having to memorize all of the controls.
