Many people are big NFL fans, which is very understandable. Sitting on the couch or even at the game waiting for plays to happen can be very entertaining. The amount of action, compared to how long it lasts, is an adrenaline rush. There are a couple reasons why football is the best and most entertaining sport.
First of all, the plays last at most 15 seconds, but more often than not, 5 seconds. This is super entertaining because there isn’t any action until the play starts; even then, it lasts 5 seconds. That is just my favorite part of watching football. I get excited for 5 seconds, then it all disappears when my favorite team fumbles the ball.
The amount of time you sit there waiting for a play to start compares to nothing at all. Sitting on a couch looking at a field is the most entertaining thing in the world. Many people would agree. If you decide to go to the actual game then it gets even better. You are able to buy drinks and snacks that are way too overpriced. You want a burger? You are playing at least 20 bucks or more. This is very good for us. It adds to the experience in ways we didn’t know we needed. On top of that, if you go get ome food, there is a 95% chance you will miss 3 plays. You will have to ask someone around you about what you missed. Hearing the game being explained rather than seeing it also adds a lot to the overall experience.
Don’t even get me started on the superbowl. The best thing the superbowl brings to the table is betting. You will lose all of your hard earned cash betting on which teams win or miss field goals. The stress combined with hope just adds a twist on the original football experience. Other than this, nothing changes except the amount of people watching, showing more opportunities to lose even more money. If these factors don’t make you love football, I don’t know what will.
