After ten years, the anime Attack on Titan has finally ended. The manga has been finished since April 9, 2021, but the anime just released the last episode on November 5, 2023 ending a ten year long run. Attack on Titan is about humans trying to survive and fight against man-eating titans after they broke through the walls that have been protecting them for 100 years. The main character, Eren Yeager, vows revenge to kill all the titans and he joins the survey corps to do so. As the story goes on, Eren and his friends learn the horrors of the titans, but find that some people can transform into titans. During the new season though, Eren completely changed and has a different motive which I cannot say due to spoilers.
To avoid any spoilers, the story of this show is probably the best I have seen ever. Every season in this anime, you will learn some shocking revelation and everything will just make sense every season. The foreshadowing in this show was something that is always talked about and doesn’t disappoint at all. I would say what you see in season one of this show, will make a lot more sense during season two and three. Then in season four, you will see different characters. For example, the people of Marley, who are kind of like Eren and his friends in a way, are stuck on an island, but they have titans as their military. Enough of that though, Attack on Titan’s ending broke many people’s hearts and was blowing up on social media platforms.
If someone asked me to rank Attack on Titan, I would confidently say this show is a top ten of all time.
