You’ll be doing yourself if you read this book—trust me. .
7. Hercule Poirot’s Christmas By Agatha Christie
The next book on this list is by a legendary author, Agatha Christie. Christie was an English writer known for her many mystery novels. The main character in this book is Hercule Poirot, who is a Belgian detective. Hercule Poirot is a recurring main character in thirty three of Christie’s novels, two of her plays and in her fifty one short stories. The great thing about this is you don’t have to read the books in any particular order, and if you love Poirot there’s plenty more books with him for you to read. This particular book is perfect for anyone that loves a good ‘who done it?’.
6. In a Holidaze By Christina Lauren

4. The Book Club Hotel By Sarah Morgan
This book is a great read for anyone who wants to read a holiday book without all of the romance that seems to be in most holiday books. The Book Club Hotel by Sarah Morgan focuses on the trials and tribulations of being an adult. Even though us panthers are not adults yet, there are still many things in this book that we can relate to. Hattie Coleman is a widowed Inn owner who is struggling to get through the holidays. Erica, Claudia and Anna are lifelong best friends with a lot of baggage—literally and figuratively. So what happens when their holidays twist and intertwine with?
3. The Nutcracker and the Mouse King By T.A. Hoffmann
The Nutcracker and the Mouse Kingby T. A. Hoffmann is a classic that I think everyone is at least somewhat familiar with. The story of the Nutcracker and the Mouse King is about Marie—a little girl who has been gifted with a magical nutcracker. The same night, the nutcracker protects her against the Mouse King and brings her to the Kingdom of dolls. This magical and serene story is perfect for all ages, aiding in boosting your holiday spirit!
2. Harry Potter By J.K Rowling
Everyone knows Harry Potter. Whether you have seen the movies or read the books, you have heard the name Harry Potter or “the boy who lived”. This book and movie series was a major part of my childhood, and it suits the holiday season perfectly. The Harry Potter books are perfect for the holidays because of its nostalgia and cozy vibes. The one warning I have is to stick with the first three books during the holidays since they could be considered to be less serious and dark.
1.The 12 Days Of Christmas By Poppy Alexander
Coming in at number one is The 12 Days Of Christmasby Poppy Alexander. This contemporary romance follows Freya as she goes back home for the first time in ten years because of her mom’s passing. To distract herself from her grief, she challeges herself to cook everyday before Christmas (AKA: The 12 days of Christmas) with help from her handsome neighbor, Finn, who she is staying with. This book showcases the heartbreak of losing loved ones while also illuminating how sometimes grief doesn’t have to stay a dark and depressing time in your life.
These 10 holiday books are bound to keep you entertained during the holidays. Happy Holidays, Panthers!
