Former NBA League Player and His Girlfriend Face Murder Charges

Former NBA G League player, Chance Comanche, and his girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, both face serious charges in connection to a missing woman’s case. The Las Vegas police revealed that Comanche, 27, and Harnden, 19, got arrested for kidnapping their friend, Marayna Rodgers, and things took a dark turn when Rodgers’ remains were discovered.

The police caught onto them after Rodgers was reported missing shortly after meeting with Harnden and Comanche. The investigators suspected something off from the beginning and eventually charged the couple with kidnapping, leading later to murder charges as Rodgers’ remains were found in a desert near Las Vegas.

Harnden got hit with murder and theft charges, while Comanche, currently without a murder charge, awaits extradition after his arrest in Sacramento by the FBI. The police mentioned plans to update the charges against both suspects. Harnden’s bond was set at $500,000, and while CNN tried reaching out to involved parties for comments, information about Comanche’s legal representation remains unknown.
