Coachella 2024 Line-up Has Been Released And Were So Ready

By Kai McMillian

On January 16, the world famous and one of the biggest music festivals, Coachella, announced its new lineup for 2024. With massive artists like Lana Del Rey headlining on Friday April 12 and 19, Tyler, The Creator headlining on Saturday April 13 and 20, and lastly Doja Cat on Sunday April 14 and 21. It is also a big year so far for K-Pop as two major K-Pop groups, LE SSERAFIM and ATEEZ are performing, making them the 3th and 4th kpop groups to step on the coachella stage next to Aespa, EPIK HIGH, and the iconic, BLACKPINK. The rock group No Doubt will also appear on stage. One artist that people are surprised about is the popular, Japanese “virtual idol”, also known as a “Vocaloid”, Hatsune Miku, who is actually not a real person, but a hologram.

Hatsune Miku is actually a synthesizer program that uses a voice actor’s voice (Saki Fujita) as a base for the vocaloid’s voice. Miku isn’t the only “vocaloid” as there are probably hundreds of these voice synthesizer programs. She is a mega star in Japan and has millions of fans around the world. What makes them so special is that again, these aren’t actual humans performing, they are instead holograms on stage. It looks like this Coachella will very interesting and entertaining.

The ticket Presale starts on January 19 at 11 am PT with tickets ranging from $500 for general admission to $1,269 for VIP, plus fees. The camping/camping bundles range from $150 for car camping, to $6,476 for the Lake Eldorado Tent + VIP for 4 bundles. Even though these tickets are way on the pricey side, Coachella is one event that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
