2023 was a great year for movies. There was Barbie, Oppenheimer, Saltburn, etc. So what will 2024 bring? Here are five must-see movies coming out this year for you to go see.
Starting off strong we have Deadpool 3. This action movie will be directed by Shawn Levy. Deadpool 3 will feature a team up between Deadpool and Wolverine. This movie is to be released on July 26 which is perfect because since it will be summer you will not have to wait until the weekend to watch it.

Next up is the new Joker movie, Joker: Folie à Deux. This movie is surprisingly going to be a musical thriller directed by Todd Phillips. So far the synopsis of the movie has not been released but we do know that Joaquin Phoenix will be playing the Joker and Lady Gaga will be playing Harley Quinn. This movie will be released on October 4th.

A lot of horror fans are excited about the release of A Quiet Place 3. This horror movie will be directed by Micheal Sarnoski and it is intended to be a spinoff prequel of the series. This installment will be released on June 28.

The next movie is sure to cause a rise in movie ticket purchases. Despicable Me 4 is coming to theaters. This comedy and adventure movie will be directed by Patrick Delage and Chris Renaude. So far we know that this movie will feature the newly married couple Lucy and Gru, there will also be a new villain that could be played by Will Ferrell. This movie will be coming out the day before the fourth of July on the third of that month.

Last but certainly not least, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. This Action and Fantasy movie is directed by Adam Wingard. It revolves around Godzilla and Kong as they fight a threat which challenges their existence and the safety of the human kind. This movie is coming out pretty soon on March 29.
Hopefully 2024 will be full of amazing times with your friends and many trips to the movies. With this selection of movies coming out, we are sure to be entertained for the majority of the year!
