Juniors and Seniors are going into their final years of high school, and everyone in your family is asking about college. Some people might be going to a four-year college, a community college, or taking a different route. But if you’re going to a four-year college, have you ever thought about applying for scholarships? If you don’t know how, here are some websites that could help you apply for a college scholarship.
College Board
If you do AP testing, you might know this website. If you didn’t know, this website is made by their brand, BigFuture. If you are new, though, you do need to create an account and then fill out information that can help you find scholarships. The College Board offers over 6,000 opportunities for scholarships, and depending on your information or your personal choices, it can help you find what you want. Some organizations, like UNCF and Scholarship of America, are also there to provide for your needs.
FastWeb
FastWeb is a website that is free to use and is required to make an account where you can hold emails because they do email you a lot. This website is owned by Monster.com and is worth over 3.4 billion if you don’t think it’s legit. This site provides students going to college with additional resources and financial aid information. It is a very fast database, and it has 1.5 million scholarships for students who are looking for scholarships.
Scholarship360
This website was made back in 2010 by both of the owners of Scholarship360 when they were trying to find legit scholarships to pay for college. Their goal is to help college students make funding and education simpler. To not make finding college scholarships hard to find and to have more options to make it easier for incoming college students. On their website, they have a scholarship page, advice page, and for counselors page to high school students who talk to their counselor about what to do after high school. This page will guide you and help with your journey to college.
