Le Sserafim Is Set To Release Their 3rd Mini Album “Easy”

By Kai McMillian

K-pop group Le Sserafim is a 5 member girl group under the entertainment company Source Music. They debuted on May 2, 2022 with the song and album “Fearless”. It was Originally a 6 member group, but the 6th member Kim Garam left the group about a month after debut due to proven false rumors surrounding her school life and how she allegedly bullied her classmates severely. The members of the group are Huh Yunjin (Vocalist, Rapper), Kim Chaewon (Leader, Vocalist, Dancer), Sakura (Vocalist, Rapper, Dancer), Kazuha (Sub-Vocalist, Rapper, Dancer), and lastly, Eunchae (Vocalist, Lead Dancer, youngest). Their group name is actually “I’m Fearless” but in anagram form. Sserafim also sounds like “seraphim” which basically means “heavenly beginnings”. Members Sakura and Chaewon were past members of the now disbanded, 12 member group, Iz*one. Based on their rising popularity, they won a spot on the 2024 Coachella stage!

On January 27, Le Sserafim posted hints of a new comeback on instagram by posting member photos with the caption “Because i’ve made it look easy”. On the 28th, they posted an official teaser picture stating that their new album “Easy” will be released on February 19, 2024 at 6:00 pm KST or 1:00 am PST. Alongside this comeback, they’re also releasing a brand collab with the clothing company “Peaches” with clothing and jewelry. It will initially be available in Korea from February 16th to March 3rd, then worldwide on Weverse and KREAM on March 5th. They have released 5 teaser videos (a logo teaser, a concept teaser, a highlight medley, a mini film, and a music video teaser) as of right now. There are 3 versions of the album with different photobook concepts which is extremely common in K-pop albums as they can come with a photobook, photo cards, sometimes stickers and a poster(s). As this album is coming just in time for their performance at Coachella! Many fans of Le Sserafim and general fans of K-pop are very excited for their comeback as they have given us unskippable albums back to back!
