Iran Retaliates Against Israel And Now Israel Attacks Back

By Yaseen Jangikhan

On April 1st, an Iranian embassy in Syria was bombed by Israeli Warplanes. In total, about seven military advisers were killed who were from Iran, and about 3 top senior commanders were killed. This started a major escalation between the two countries. The Supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, vowed that the evil Zionist regime would be punished for their attack on the embassy. Iran had then vowed to retaliate after this incident because an embassy is part of a country’s soil; you can’t just bomb it and expect nothing to occur without any consequences.

After about 2 weeks Iran started their attack, sending 170 drones in the attack with 30 cruise missiles and 120 ballistic missiles. They targeted a base that was used to bomb their embassy in Syria, as well as other numerous locations, and they didn’t target civilians as Israel does. After the attacks, Iran said their “attack had been concluded.” However they noted that if any other mistakes occur from the Zionist regime to Iran they will respond with even more fierce consequences. Israeli and U.S. sources claimed that 99% of the drones and other weapons had been shot down and also that there wasn’t too much damage. However, to me, it’s hard to believe because it costs about $20,000-100,000 just to fire one missile or more from the Iron Dome to intercept anything, so they would have spent at least 1 to 2 billion dollars.

Iran’s Permanent Representative stated to the United Nations that “Iran’s Military response was based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter regarding legitimate defense in response to the aggression of the Zionist regime on our diplomatic facilities in Syria. This evidence shows that it’s a proper retaliation, but Israel always tries to act like the victim when they start their problems. Israel’s attack on Iran has now occurred with Israel targeting a defense radar in Isfahan. This defense radar system seems to be Iran’s best one it uses to protect other nuclear sites. However, government officials in Tehran are denying this claim that it was hit. We will just have to see, but tensions are looking at an all-time high and they may not slow down.
