It is getting close to graduation, everyone is getting impatient to get out of school and join the real world. Well, there is a curse that comes with this blessing. Time. Time is your worst enemy. Time, time, time. Everything seems to be in slow motion. Classes feel 3x longer, the teachers yap the whole time, and to top it all off, there are the dreaded finals. Well, I am here to tell you some solutions to survive this last week of school.
First of all, we need entertainment. More times than not your teachers will not allow you to be on your phone during these finals. If you don’t have finals, then you are fine. But if you do, then we need to activate sneaky mode. There are a couple techniques to hide your phone and still be able to be on it. The first one is, the backpack strat. Take your backpack and put it on your desk. Place it so that it is in between the teacher and you, while maintaining some space in front of you for your phone. Then, take your phone out and do whatever you need with ease. But, make sure it is behind your backpack.
The second strategy is the bathroom strategy. This one does not always work, due to other kids already out doing the exact same thing. But, if you are lucky enough to be able to go, do it. Once you make it out of the classroom, you are home free. The only problem is time. You only have around 20 minutes to do whatever you gotta do on your phone. You can stay out later, but the risk comes with your teacher asking why you were out so long. So, better to be safe than sorry.
The final tactic is the lap tactic. This one is risky, but can get the job done, but at the same time requires skill that not many people have. So, when your teacher is not focused on you, take your phone out but keep it on your lap. Look down but not with your head, with your eyes, then you shuffle back and forth from your phone and the teacher, to make sure the teacher isn’t either looking at you, or coming over to you. If you can get this skill down, you will be sitting pretty.
Now that I have given you tips and tricks to survive this last week of school, I wish you all luck out there. You can do this, you can survive this week of school. It will not last forever, even though it feels that way. If you take into consideration what I have told you, you will survive this week no big deal. Just remember what I have taught you all.
