In America there have been 46 Presidents and 0 have been women. This is not surprising news considering how they have been treated in the past compared to men. Law has come so far to give women rights. Gaining the right to vote and have a place in office have been very significant. Although America has yet to see their first female President, there is a possibility that we could in the upcoming 2024-2025 election. In the most recent election with Joe Biden as the President he chose Kamala Harris as his Vice President. Harris has already made history by becoming the first female Vice President of color. Other accomplishments done by the Biden- Harris administration was signing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act for contributing to help end gun violence in America. This was an important act done because many of their followers support the decision.
Everyone is curious to know if America is ready for their first President who is of color and female. In 2024, surveys show that 93% of Americans would vote for a female President if she was qualified. This is a big accomplishment in society considering many years ago less than half of those people would vote for a woman. In 1937, only 33% of people said they would vote for a woman to become President. This information shows how far the world has come and people are learning to be equal and treat men and women the same. In conclusion, lots of informational research shows that America is ready for the first female President of the United States.
