It’s Trudover

A video went viral in August of a steel worker refusing a handshake from Justin Trudeau—who is the current Prime Minister of Canada, and has had the job for 9 years—and confronting him about how he can’t make ends meet while being in a stable job. He responded by talking about what he and his Liberal Party have done to help, but the worker called him out and said, “I don’t believe you for a second. I think you are only here for another year.”
Trudeau has also fallen in the public eye of approval from 63% when he started 9 years ago to 28% in June of this year. Trudeau’s Liberal Party has also lost a Toronto federal seat that they have held for 30 years to the Conservative Party. The leader of the Conservative Party, Pierre Poilievre, said they will have a vote of no confidence, and if it succeeds, the ballot boxes will open and Trudeau might fall. According to Mr. Bricker of Trudeau’s government, “It’s basically over. All that is happening is sands sliding out of the sand dial, and we’re working our way towards an inevitable conclusion.” According to an article from the BBC, “Following June’s by-election defeat in Toronto, Trudeau has faced pressure to quit from members of his own party.” The New Democratic Party recently withdrew from an agreement that kept Trudeau in power in exchange for assurances on key progressive policy pieces. Overall, even though Trudeau has tried to make more promises to try and get people to vote, there is a good chance that it won’t work due to his falling out of favor with the public vote.
