In a recent video he uploaded, musical artist Kendrick Lamar announced that he would be performing in the Super Bowl halftime show. In the video, he is seen using a machine to launch footballs with an American flag as the backdrop.
He then says that there is only one chance to win the championship, and no round two, referencing Drake’s statements on Instagram in which he posted a video of Rasheed Wallace saying, “We will win round 2.”
This comes after his public feud with Drake that most people agree Kendrick won. Many people believe that Kendrick Lamar will be releasing a new album soon, as a new song (released via Instagram), Super Bowl performance, and all eyes on him are all good signs he may release.
This will not be his first time performing at the Super Bowl. He performed in 2022 with other stars such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige, performing his songs “Alright” and “M.A.A.D City.”
