Bring a cozy blanket, a chair, and set up along first street to enjoy the beautiful annual local parade on December 14th. The Benicia Holiday Parade is an event that has brought the community together annually for almost 30 years. The whole town comes together to celebrate the start of the holiday season with their friends, family, and neighbors.
The parade goes from 10am to 3pm and consists of many local organizations, including the Girl Scouts, local dance groups, and even the Benicia High School Band and Color guard.
Attending this event is a great way to start off the season, especially if you have kids. They can look forward to meeting all of their favorite holiday characters, including the Grinch, Santa Clause, and Mrs. Clause. These characters even stop to take pictures with everyone.
This is more than just a parade—it is a tradition that will be carried on for many more years to come in Benicia, a positive way to connect with your community, and a boast to getting into the holiday spirit.
Whether you’re new to Benicia or have lived here for a long time, the Benicia Holiday Parade is a fun event that will leave you feeling happy and ready to enjoy the holiday season.
So, if you’re looking for a fun and free way to celebrate the holidays, join the Benicia community at the Benicia Holiday Parade to watch performances that everyone has worked so hard to put together.
