Whether you are doing homework, driving your car, or just doing anything in general, music is really a must. Many people have different music tastes, and I want to give you guys good songs that I think you will like. There will be different genres in this article, such as rap, R&B, and K-pop. I also will include popular songs that are just a good listen. I will be putting three albums in each category that I believe will be a good listen for the people reading this article. I really hope these albums are going on your personal playlists.
Rap/Hip hop
- Good kid, m.A.A.d City by Kendrick Lamar
- Finally Rich by Chief Keef
- Tha Carter III by Lil Wayne
Good kid, m.A.A.d City is a really good album that Kendrick Lamar released back in October 22, 2012, in which he told his story about his life in Compton. We see the story of his life, where we see hardships happen in the story, and how he made it out of Compton.
In Finally Rich, a 17-year-old kid named Keith Cozart, who became Chief Keef, released an album called Finally Rich, where famous songs like “Love Sosa” and “I Don’t Like” were released.
Tha Carter III was released in 2008, winning many awards, like a GRAMMY award, back in 2008. Arguably one of the best rap albums to come out, the album included songs like “Lollipop” and “Mrs. Officer”.
R&B
- Confessions by Usher
- Another Level by Blackstreet
- In my own words by Ne-Yo
Confessions by Usher, released in 2004, features songs such as “Yeah” and “Confessions Part II,” and he won a grammy for it. This is a really good album to listen to.
Another Level by Blackstreet is more of a throwback album, with songs like “No Diggity” and “Don’t Leave Me” coming out of the album.
In My Own Words, released back in 2006 by Ne-Yo, he released one of his most popular songs he made called “So Sick.” This is an underrated album to come out.
Kpop
- Get Up by New Jeans
- Walpurgis Night by GFRIEND
- The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: “Young Forever” by BTS
Get Up by New Jeans, releasing songs like “ETA” or “Super Shy,” has been heard all over the world and social media platforms like Twitch, having streamers like Jasontheween, playing the song to millions of people.
Walpurgis Night by GFRIEND was released back in 2020, making songs like “MAGO” be hits.
BTS released The Most Beautiful Moment In Life back in 2016, where it was one of their best albums released. It included one of their most memorable songs, “Young Forever”, because the album was them celebrating their success.
