Formally known as States Coffee, the owners of Double Rainbow and Rainbow Froyo bought States Coffee, changing the name to the Majestic Cafe. I’m guessing they named it Majestic Cafe because there is a theater called the Majestic Theater right next to it.
When the Majestic Cafe opened, their objective was to envelop coffee lovers in a welcoming feeling. It’s a cafe with all sorts of beverages from experimental styles like the jalapeño mocha to straight up espressos. Customers have praised not only the quality of the drinks but also the nice calming atmosphere. In a Google review, a customer wrote that the cafe has “A warm and cozy atmosphere with great staff and wonderful owners.”
Double Rainbow Cafe, found at 560 1st Street A105, is a brief walk from Majestic Cafe. Offering gourmet ice cream, shaved ice, bubble tea, and coffee, Double Rainbow is an institution in Benicia’s desserts culture, dating back to 1994. They’ve been voted “Best Ice Cream Shop in Solano County” due to their sustained commitment to good quality. Its foot traffic really is proof of its dedication to the community.
