As the seasons change and we enter the new year, the fashion trends change as well. So what patterns, colors, and textures will we see in 2025? Lets see what Vogue and other fashion magazines have to say.
Patterns
Some patterns that will be popular in 2025 we’ve seen in past years and have been growing in popularity.
Gingham – The gingham pattern that we see growing in popularity gives off a traditional cottage feel and has grown with the light and springy aethstetic that was popular in 2024.
70s print clash – This style was popular in the 70s, and we know trends tend to repeat themselves. This style is when you have two bold pieces in an outfit that are completely different patterns. This has been seen everywhere, especially in Vogue in the past couple months.
Snakeskin – Leopard print has been a huge aspect of fashion almost every year, but 2024 was especially a big year for leopard/cheetah print, so 2025 might be snake prints year. There has already been snake skin implemented in fashion shows recently and will probably grow this upcoming fall.
Fabrics
Denim – Denim skirts and jackets are growing in popularity and have been this past decade, so they will definitely be trending in 2025.
Linen – This spring and summer will have lots of flowy linens and light weight clothing.
Colors
Candy pink – Dark red has taken over the fall season, but candy pink is going to be popular during this summer and spring.
Sky blue – Sky blue is a bright, refreshing color that everyone can pull off and is a great color for summer.
Seafoam green – Seafoam green is a great neutral that we should expect to see a lot more of in 2025. It’s the perfect color for any article of clothing from flowy dresses to business casual.
