BHS First Rally 25-26 School Year

By Laila Hicks

On September 26th, 2025, students gathered together for a rally. At the rally, students were able to do a “human ice cream sundae” on 2 staff members. The students that got to do this were the winners of the Sugar Rush field day. This was the boys water polo team.

Before the rally, I asked a student, Morgan Goodbar, grade 9, the following question. “What grade level do you think will win the rally, and why?” She answered, “I think the freshmen will win because they are the most hype.” I asked another student, Aislynn Freels (9), the same question, and she answered, “I think the seniors will win because they have the most experience.”

Each grade was told to wear their color. Freshman is black, sophomore is white, junior is blue, and senior is gold. Wearing these colors helped to show your school spirit and have a chance to get in a photo of your grade.

Another activity that was held at the rally was a dance. Advanced Dance performed a rehearsed dance that they had practiced since the start of the school year, and cheer had shown off a routine they had also been practicing for a while.

The rally was a good way to get all of the grades excited and perform in different activities, showing off your class colors, and enjoy seeing the performances at the rally, as well as the human sundae that was done and the race between each grade.
