The effects of Trump’s letter to Epstein have, are truly baffling. The idea that someone in the highest point of government is not only implicated but also a possible suspect in Epstein’s cabal is something that shakes the American idea of justice to its core.
We allowed a possible perpetrator of one of the most heinous crimes to get into office. And due to this he will most likely go uncharged. So if people like this are able to go uncharged what will it show to the rest of the world and the rest of those who commit these acts.
I asked common people around Benicia “What they think about Trump’s letter to Epstein?” I got over 18 replies. To sum them up with the quote from one person who wishes to stay anonymous, “I think he should be locked up.” Is what I heard many variations of. The people think that Trump is a criminal. We don’t know if he is, but the way they have handled it surely would make you think he is.
