Have you heard of trunk or treating? Many people love to decorate their cars festive and give out candy. Instead of going from house to house to trick or treat, there is a new thing called trunk or treating. Trunk or treating is when people go from car to car in a parking lot for their candy.
Most parents argue that trunk or treating is a lot safer than trick or treating because the space is a lot smaller instead of a big neighborhood. Summer Boyd, a mother of 2, states, “Trunk or treating is better than trick or treating because I can keep a good eye on my kids and the environment is smaller.”
Trick or treating has been around since the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many people say trick or treating is better in general because it just seems way more fun and children seem to enjoy it more than trunk or treating because there are hundreds of houses that give out candy, rather than just 30 cars. Jim Bacon, father of 2, states that, “Trick or treating is way more adventurous and offers the classic halloween experience.”
What would you say is better, trunk or treating or trick or treating?
