There is going to be a special Halloween event in Benicia and YOU should go to it! Why? Because they are cool, and give you the chance to meet new people, express yourself, and support some small businesses.
These events are called Comic Cons or Conventions. They are always filled with the coolest people, costumes, and little trinkets that artist and collector vendors sell.
These down-to-earth shop keepers and their knick knacks range from very detailed, elegant pins and stickers to dark, sharp prints and jewelry. Some even sell mystery boxes, comics, and collectables.
You can always find the vendors who sell collectables at any size Convention, but the ones that sell the pins, keychains, prints, and jewelry tend to only be at the bigger events.
One thing that is a big variable when it comes to the price range of different Comic Cons is the size of the event. Since the entry fee for the Comic Con in Benicia is so cheap, the size of the event is most likely going to be very small. But that’s not going to stop it from being absolutely awesome!
The entry fee for your typical Comic Con, such as SacAnime, Fan Expo, and YumeCon, can range from $20 for SacAnime Winter 2025 to $75 for Fan Expo events, which tend to be some of the biggest in the Bay Area.
Both the price and event information can be found on FanCons.com, where you can find the order of events happening, when and where, and how much they will cost.
The Comic Con in Benicia is going to be on the 26th of October from 11am to 4pm at 1150 1st Street. Parking is going to be free, cameras are allowed, and the entry fee is only $8.
