When I hear about Halloween, I think about trick-or-treating but what else is there to do? Party? What about the people with no cars? Pumpkin patches? What about the people who can’t afford it?
There are traditionally things to do other than Trick-or-Treat but what’s convenient?
You can recreate old halloween fun at home! Some things you can do are: bobbing for apples with friends, watching scary movies, or adding spooky spin to your party games.
Free things to do at home are turning your home into a haunted house, movie nights, and festive things to do in your neighborhood like handing out candy to trick or treaters.
Handing Out Candy
Even when you’re not Trick-or-Treating you can still participate in the fun action like handing candy to other trick or treaters. But make sure to stock up on all the best goodies, and if you want to make it even more fun, you can make them into little gift baskets.
Playing Spooky Trivia Games
Gather up some friends, throw a small halloween party and there you and your friends and play Halloween trivia either based on your favorite halloween movies, or the best candy to hand out. Which is also fun, because you can customize the games to make them unique to you and your friends!
Dress Up Your Pet
Let your family in on some of this fun and decide on a couple of costumes for your pet. This activity can be so fun, maybe even match with your pet. But also still keep weather in mind if you’re thinking about going outside because your pet can get dehydrated so keep some water to make sure they don’t overheat.
Finding other things to do for Halloween isn’t hard to do. Proving my point that, yes, there are activities other than Trick-or-Treating to do. You can do festive things at home, around your town or even with friends. I hope this festive article can give you some ideas to do this Halloween!
