Many companies like L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, Clinique, MAC, Clorox, and Palmolive do experiments/testing on animals. 80% of the world support animal testing and think animal testing should continue on.
What is animal testing? Animal testing is when scientists test the safety of products, study diseases, or advance fundamental knowledge. These experiments can cause pain, distress, or death. Many animals including monkeys, dogs, rabbits, and mice experience this every year. Animal testing has been around for over 2,500 years. Scientists thought of animal testing to see if certain products were safe for humans.
Humans can fight against animal testing by always buying cruelty-free products, donating to organizations that support alternatives, and advocating for change by educating others and contacting the government and companies. Some organizations you can donate to are Cruelty free international, the physicians committee for responsible medicine, and the american anti-vivisection society.
Animals are mammals just like humans so what’s different. Animal testing needs to be stopped and you can help with that.
