Famous k-pop band, ENHYPEN, have accomplished many great things in just five years. They performed at Coachella this year, their world tour had around a total of 670,000 people attend, they won 3 awards at TMA, they were the first 4th generation k-pop boy band to receive a DAESANG and more! They have achieved many great things and now in January 2026 they will stream their own anime.
The anime will be available on Crunchyroll, an app made just for people to watch anime.
ENHYPEN’s anime will be called: Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. The anime will be based off their comic produced on Webtoon, it has the same name and everything. It will be based off the first part of their Webtoon, which is The Blood Altar. The sequel is on Webtoon which is called The Two Moons.
In ENHYPEN there are seven members. Those seven members each have a character in the anime that will represent them. Jaan represents Jay, Noa represents Ni-ki, Jakah represents Jungwon, Solon represents Sunghoon, Heli represents Heeseung, Jino represents Jake, and Shioon represents Sunoo. And Sooha who represents ENGENE, ENHYPEN’s fan base.
Although the members themselves do not voice the characters in the TV show, there is a variety of famous anime voice actors that voice their roles. Such as Heli being voiced by Kikunosuke Toya who can also be heard in Chainsaw Man. Another example is Jakah being voiced by Yuto Uemura who can be heard in Vinland Saga.
The real question now is what is the anime about? Well the Dark Blood: The Blood Altar is about Sooha, a new and very mysterious student at Deceils Academy. She immediately is noticed by seven popular boys. They grow closer and she finds out that they are vampires, her hatred for them grows as she has trauma from vampires. Although Sooha shows her hatred they can’t help but feel drawn to her anyways, this drives the whole entire plot.
In this compelling anime you will see it is about unraveling secrets, history of princesses and knights, romance and eventually werewolves entering the picture. Many ENGENES are beyond excited to get cozy and watch this anime, having high expectations for the production of the anime.
