You may have heard of the young successful actor, Owen Cooper. Owen was born on December 5th, 2009. Owen started acting when he was 14 years old and got his first major role as Jamie MIller in the show Adolescence (2025). Adolescence is about a 14 year old boy Jamie Miller, who got accused of killing his classmate. The show Adolescence itself has gotten 6 emmy awards.
Owen Cooper has won a Golden Globe, an Emmy and Critics Choice Awards for his performance in Adolescence. Owen is the youngest male in history to win a Golden Globe. Owen Cooper won the Golden Globe for the best performance by a male actor in a supporting role on television. The internet is stunned by how successful Owen Cooper is at such a young age and is inspired by his talent “This is such an unbelievable experience.” It’s a big achievement at any age and he won it for a brilliant performance.
These awards Owen has gotten over the past year impact his future a lot because he can start getting more major roles and grow his acting career. Owen Cooper has one new movie called Wuthering Heights that stars Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie coming out on February 13, 2026.
