Valentine’s day is right around the corner and you have no idea what to give to that special someone, or a friend that you really care about.
Here are some of the best, and easiest gifts to get for someone you care about.
A box of chocolates is always a classic gift to get someone for Valentine because who doesn’t like chocolate?!
Many stores, especially around this time of year, are already selling Valentine’s day chocolates. You can find them at Safeway, Raley’s, and even Hallmark, which sadly is closing down, so everything is on sale.
Shiny things tend to catch the eye of many, so why not get something like that for someone who shines just as bright! Jewelry is cute and personal, but it also tends to be a bit pricey, so make sure you spend your money wisely.
Another classic is flowers, which you can buy at a store or you can even make them yourself! You can buy all sorts of flowers at Raley’s and Safeway, some are even Valentine’s day themed.
But if you are up for the challenge, you can make your very own flowers. There are many different materials you can use to personalize your flowers and really make them pop. I definitely recommend using a tutorial and trying a couple of times when you go to make some, because they are very challenging.
Cuddly companions are always a good gift, many stores have a variety of stuffed animals you can pick from. But if none of those are good enough or are too expensive, you can make one out of a fluffy sock.
And why stop there? Especially when you could make them a cardboard ragdoll. They are easy to make, cheap, and absolutely adorable!
Besides all those things, why not a good ‘ol letter? Where you would get to practice your Victorian wife yearning for her husband’s return from the war impression.
In a letter you can really reflect and show the person how much you really care. It’s a place where you can appreciate all the things they’ve done for you and you can thank them without it being corny or weird.
Lastly, why not all of them in one! Having trouble deciding what to get that person? Get them a little bit of everything. A popular option people are doing nowadays is making a valentine’s day gift baskets, with each one having a personal feel to it.
