Pam Bondi, United States Attorney General, was held before Congress as a witness to the Epstein files she was meant to answer the question of congress. During the hearing each Congress member had 5 minutes of questioning; during those five minutes Pam Bondi had to respond to every question to her fullest extent.
Instead of bringing information or files to the hearing Pam Bondi brought a book full of insults. Some of those insults included calling Congresswoman Becca Balint a “anti-semitic”, Becca Balint is jewish and has had family who died in the holocaust. Disregarding that this is a hearing about the Epstein Files.
When Pam Bondi was asked whether she has ever communicated with or contacted any of the victims. They asked that question so that we can know whether she has even tried getting witness testimony from people who were there. She said, “Not one of them (referring to congress representatives) asked Merrick Garland over the last four years, one word about Jeffery Epstein. How ironic is that? You know why? Because Donald Trump, the Dow, the Dow right now is over – the Dow is over 50,000 dollars.”
She refused to answer the question. The answer to the question was zero: not one attempt had been made to contact the victims since Pam Bondi came into power. She also refused to look at the victims when asked to say sorry to them. Instead of saying sorry she went on rambling about Merrick Garland and the DOW.
At one point representative Massie questioned her about unredacting and releasing a file full of victims names the DOJ was told to redact, he also brought up how they redacted the names of co-conspirators.
She responded by saying, “We corrected that in 40 minutes (in response to the co-conspirators, also they did not, it is still redacted) your acting like everybody is trying to cover up Wexner’s name. Within 40 minutes… (Rep.Massie then interrupted her trying to reclaim his time) let me finish my answer… (another interruption)… This guy has trump derangement syndrome.”
And finally not a single question was genuinely answered. She went about talking random non-sense the whole time. And this did not move anything forward about the Epstein Files, Pam Bondi is incompetent and should not be in power. Her incompetence was shown in full effect during this hearing and shows how bad this administration is running things.
