If anyone is tired of doing the same couple things in the small town of Benicia, then said people should check out Glen Cove!

Glen Cove is only 6.3 miles away from Benicia, which is about a 12-minute drive to get there. If you walk or run from State Park, it’ll be refreshing and relaxing; you can spend time in nature while getting your steps in! It’s a win-win. It can leave a bunch of people feeling well accomplished.

The park in Glen Cove that is connected to the Benicia State Park is called Glen Cove Waterfront Park. This park has extraordinary views of the water, the Carquinez Bridge, the hills, the trees, and just nature’s beauty in general! There are sitting areas, so it’s perfect if you want to sit down and do a Bible study, study for school, read a book, have a picnic, or just want to sit and listen to the sound of nature. You could also walk from Alvarez Ninth Street Park, which is 4.4 miles away from the Waterfront.

There is also a Glen Cove Marina, which is the photo up above. If you visit, you can see a bunch of different kinds of boats and hear the sounds of the water. If you’re there at sunset you can catch a good Instagram worthy photo. You could also book a tour of the marina!

One of the places you can get something to eat in Glen Cove is Babs Delta Diner. Babs Delta Diner is a  popular breakfast/brunch spot, known for its Snoopy-themed art and diverse menu, including Loco Moco, Korean short ribs, eggs benedict, fried rice, and chicken & waffles. They are open for breakfast/brunch and close by 2:30 PM for service transition. They have friendly customer service, and their rates are high with a 4.8. They’re fun and whimsical with bright colors, playful murals, and a family-friendly vibe.

So all in all, you should definitely try to visit Glen Cove for all of the great vibes they have. You can have a niche hangout spot with your friend group!
