On Wednesday September 7, 2016, Apple hosted an event to announce the launch of the newest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. The rumors for the newest iPhones consist of everything from better pictures to wireless headphones. Here are a few leaked features for the giant tech reveal on the newest iPhone:

Dual Camera

The new iPhone will have two rear cameras that will capture picture at the same time and merge them together for better and more clear pictures. The camera will also have up to 12 megapixel sensors and the flash will be reworked so that you can take better low light photos.

Waterproofing

Samsung users are not the only ones with waterproof features now, Apple has announced that the next iPhone will be able to go underwater as much as 3 feet for 30 minutes.

Siri and iMessaging

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus will have a pressure sensitive home button and a 3D touch screen. Also, Siri will perform even more tasks, like search for images on social media and calling Uber. Apple also decided to follow in the footsteps of Snapchat and allow iMessage to introduce more visual options, like more stickers and emoticons.

Headphones

The feature that has blown up social media and angered Iphone users the most is the removal of the headphone jack. iPhone officially have wireless headphones that only work with bluetooth and require a smartphone Lightning connector. The new wireless Airpods will ship with your iPhone or be sold separately for the price of $159.

Colors

If you thought the Rose Gold cover was the best thing Apple could come up with, think again. Apple is switching up their colors on the newest iPhone and adding two new black options. In addition to Rose Gold, Gold, and Silver, there will be a matte and high gloss black.

The iPhone 7 will cost anywhere from $650 to $750 and the iPhone 7 Plus will be released in 2017 with a rumored price of $750 All orders for the iPhone 7 will start Friday September 7th.
