Amazing Halloween costumes
I know what you’re thinking… “Oh my gosh, I’m running out of time to get a halloween costume!” Well this year, try something new and make your costume creative. And the best part is fun style can be easy–and can save you or your parents money. It’ll be fun because you’ll be different and original.
There are so many things you can be! For example… You and a group of friends can be minions. Get some overalls, yellow shirts, and glasses and you are good to go (carrying around a banana is definitely advised).
If there are any couples that want a fairly traditional take on matching costumes, you can be always be a prince/princess combo. The girls wear a dress and a crown, and for the guy, you don’t have to wear a fancy suit. Guys can just wear some nice pants, a button down shirt, while a tie is optional (just ask Prince Eric).
Alternatively, you can try being Batman and Robin. After squabbling over which one gets stuck with Robin, you get the added benefit of acting like you’re going to fight crime! Batman: wear a Batman shirt, black pants and a black/yellow belt and don a quick, makeshift cape. Robin: wear green pants with red shirt with green sleeves (optional) with an “R” on the side, and a yellow cape.
Want to fly solo with your costume? Try dressing up as your favorite celebrity, actor, comedian, teacher (if you have one), etc. Still a little too tricky? Dress up as one of your friends and enjoy the inside jokes.
Halloween can be easy to miss out on due to busy schedules and other commitments, but still try to have some fun with it. Keep your costumes classy, comfortable, and school-appropriate (no blood, weapons, or masks are permitted on campus, and you must follow school dress code) and you’ll be good to go!
