On Monday October 18th, the 31 year old Canadian singer hopped on multiple social media platforms including Twitter and Instagram to explain the changes he’s made with his upcoming 2022 World Tour.
The changes consist of the tour shifting to the summer of 2022, the name which is now “After Hours Til Dawn”, and that the shows will be set in stadiums rather than arenas.
According to the posts, the singer wrote, “due to the constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires more stadiums.”

The singer has proven to many that he is fully capable of performing in a stadium setting by his NFL halftime performance back in February that shook everyone across the board.
According to an article by Billboard, the singer said “A lot has been going down, a lot of moving pieces. Been settling in a new home. Been shooting videos. Been working on pre-productions for another world. Taking time to myself so I don’t completely lose my mind. But now we’re back.”
The singer has added new dates across the globe in places that include North America, in Europe including France, Germany, and Norway. Also, Asia, Australia, Africa, South America, and even the Middle East.
Because of the change in plans with the World Tour, a statement has been made by the singer that tickets that were purchased for the original tour dates will “be refunded automatically and all ticket holders will be given priority access to purchasing tickets for the new dates.”
The tour isn’t the only upcoming event the singer has, the canadian singer has teased more news on his 5th studio album that is set to be released very soon. According to the radio station 97.9, the singer stated “the album is complete. Only thing that’s missing is a couple of characters who are key to the narrative.”
While many fans still appear confused about the news of the recent changes, the singer is hopeful and certain that the tour and album will have a great success and run in the end.
