The 31 year old Canadian singer finally released his long awaited fifth studio album, Dawn FM on Thursday evening.
The album contains 16 tracks and in its entirety runs about 52 minutes. The singer has been teasing the fans for quite sometime now, posting here and there sneak peaks of the album.
The album’s intro consists of Jim Carrey as the narrator of a soft rock radio host. In the track, “A Tale By Quincy,” there is a small spoken word interlude by Quincy Jones himself.
The singer made multiple collaborations within the album creation with artists like Lil Wayne, Tyler The Creator, Oneohtrix Point Never, Swedish House Mafia, Max Martin, Calvin Harris, and the Uncut Gems film co-director Josh Safdie.
The Canadian singer released the album with a live stream on Twitch and Amazon 103.5 FM.
In an interview with GQ magazine, the singer said, “I want to do this forever. And even if I start getting into different mediums and different types of expressions, music will be right there. I’m not going to step away from it.”
Following the release of the new album, the singer will embark on his After Hours Till Dawn Stadium Tour soon in the Summer, to North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.
