The popular show Euphoria’s longly anticipated season 2 has arrived and has the internet in shock and anticipation. After the season’s finale was released on February 27, fans are posting on multiple social media platforms on how old they will be when the show returns in 2024, what phases of their lives they will be in, and even fearing that they would lose interest if the wait takes too long.

In its second season, the Zendaya-led Euphoria has proven enormously popular. Following the Season 2 debut, which drew 13.1 million people on HBO and HBO Max, in its second season, the show has proven to be enormously popular, taking over Twitter with tons of tweets.

Although it seems that some fans were quite unsatisfied with the finale.

Sam Levinson, the creator of Euphoria, seems to be the main source of people’s frustration when it comes to both the plotlines which fans believe he has disregarded and the length of time it takes for the show to be completed. All eighteen episodes of Euphoria, which is based on an Israeli series of the same name, were written by Levinson, who also developed the show.

While NFL fans debated between the Bengals and the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, Euphoria viewers were excitedly expecting the Maddy vs. Cassie confrontation, and the stats reflected the excitement to the tune of 5.1 million viewers on that night alone, a series high. (via Complex, news article)

HBO has then shortly confirmed after the finale, that the show would be renewed for a third season, potentially to be released in 2024.
