The social media streaming platform Twitch, is going to be putting on their annual convention in San Diego this weekend. Many creators from all over the world will be coming to the convention to meet fans, have panels, and put on the party of the year.
Twitch is a live streaming platform where creators can build their own fan base by live streaming. There are a wide range of categories on twitch, including just chatting, art, games, and even live tournaments. There are over 8 million active streamers on the site as of July 2022. And twice a year, everyone comes together to have fun.
For the past 7 years, streamers have been able to meet their fans, share their wisdom, and participate in live competitions at the convention site. The convention had to shut down for the past two years due to the pandemic, but it is finally back and better than ever!
The TwitchCon organizers have prepared a large range of panels and meet and greets for fans to attend, as well as the platform’s own competition, Twitch Rivals. Attendees can not only go to panels and meet and greets, but even take a walk through the Artist Ally, and support artists by buying products!
