Disney finally released the teaser trailer for the final installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy series, Vol. 3. The trailer was released at Disney and Marvel’s presentation at CCXP 2022 in Brazil. This is still the start of the promotional campaign, as the movie isn’t set to release until May 5, 2023.
The trailer showed some of our favorite aspects of the guardians: the witty quips, funny jokes, and the beloved music from the 60s and 70s. However, it’s also emotional. The trailer shows how Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is trying to reconnect with Gammora (Zoe Saldana) even if it’s not the same one he fell in love with. It also teases the origins of Rocket Racoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper); showing the experiments that were done on him as a baby to turn him into the lovable space rodent we know today.
As far as the trailer suggests, the main cast has stayed the same; with the exception of the introduction of Adam Warlock (played by The Maze Runner’s Will Poulter). James Gunn, the creative force behind the series, has also returned as both writer and director of Vol. 3.
Fans eagerly anticipate the release of the next installment of this beloved series, curious as to what this means for the Guardians’ futures.
