Detroit agencies recently have been investigating what happened to Detroit rappers Armani Kelly, 28, Dante Wicker, 31 and Montoya Givens, 31, after their scheduled performance in Lounge 31 in Detroit, Michigan was canceled. “It’s our understanding that the performance got canceled, and from there – we just have a whole lot of unanswered questions that we are trying to find out,” Michael McGinnis said.
McGinnis also reported that ‘their phones have stopped activity’ by the early morning of January 22. The mother of Kelly has then later filed a missing person report, and she is also active on the case that she has started searching for her through Onstar. While searching for her car through the platform, she later found out that the car’s location was in Warren, Michigan which is 26 minutes away from Detroit.
After a few days, information of the rappers’ disappearance have circulated the internet and has spread on many platforms, said McGinnis. Kelly’s mother, Lorrie Kemp, has been making missing flyers of the rappers and has been spreading the news on her social media profile.
“We want to find them and get them home to their loved ones,” he said. “Really think about the victims’ families in this case, they have no answers. They don’t know where their loved one is.
