“Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’ may now have a name written in it: withTravis Kelce’s name. You may have heard about this unexpected romance from lovers of Taylor Swift or football, since it is widely publicized on the NFL’s Instagram. Will they stay together, or will she soon begin working on a new album?
Taylor Swift is known for her very popular breakup songs, written after all of her exes.
Swift fans at Arrowhead Stadium spotted Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs football player, at Swift’s Eras Tour in July. While watching the performance from his VIP box, the football player was seen sharing friendship bracelets with viewers. Kelce revealed a few weeks after watching Swift perform on her Eras Tour that he actually tried to see her after the event but was unsuccessful.
As NFL Network’s Rich Eisen praised the tight end before the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he frequently drew comparisons to Swift, which prompted further jokes.
Jason Kelce, who is Travis’s brother, appeared on DeCamara & Ritchie on SportsRadio, was questioned about the Swift dating rumors. Jason had previously been discreet about the dating rumors, so when he stated that they were “100% true,” the internet and the hosts concluded the accusations were true.
“I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead Stadium. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.” Kelce stated he told Swift.
Sept. 24. The singer was seen watching the game from Kelce’s suite alongside his mother, where she was later cheering as Kelce scored a touchdown.
Oct. 1, the Chiefs played against the New York Jets. Taylor Swift brought along her celebrity friends for the game, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, Sophie Turner and Antoni Porowski.
After Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs game, Swift’s friends talked about the singer and Kelce’s romance, saying that they are “still just getting to know each other.”
“It’s nothing too serious,” the friend said, “He is a charming guy. It’s more of a hanging out situation than dating.”
